 Description:  The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that starting at 11 p.m. tonight the ongoing bridge deck patching project at Interstate 55 and U.S. 41 (Lake Shore Drive) will require closing I-55s middle lane in both directions just west of the interchange. Traffic will be split into the left and right lanes in both directions, with the middle lane closed, until 5 a.m. Thursday, when all lanes permanently reopen.
