 Description:  This report is made pursuant to the Taxpayer Accountability and Budget Stabilization Act (the Act) (P.A. 96-1496). The Act increased the income tax rates imposed on individuals, trusts, estates, and corporations. The Act also established State spending limitations for Fiscal Years 2012 through 2015, and provided for a reduction in tax rates should those limitations be exceeded.
