 Description:  This report fulfills the biennial report requirement of Public Act 89-499 for 2020 and 2021. During 2020 and 2021, IDPH staff assisted the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service to develop a virtual Mosquito Control Applicator Training Course due to COVID-19. In state fiscal years 2020 and 2021, $2.8 million was awarded to 97 LHDs. In fiscal year 2022, $2.2 million was awarded to 97 LHDs. The decrease was due to a decrease in tire revenue during COVID-19.
