 Description:  On April 25, Governor Pat Quinn issued a state disaster declaration for severe flooding in Southern Illinois. As flood waters began to recede, the state requested personnel from FEMA and SBA to assist with thorough assessments of the damage. The teams will begin those assessments on Monday. The information gathered by these teams will be used to support a state request for federal disaster assistance.
