 Description:  The Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA) will host the 3rd annual Summit on the Prevention of Elder Financial Fraud and Abuse Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the Oak Brook Hills Resort. IDoA presents the summit to highlight addressing the ways state and federal agencies work together with financial institutions to protect older adults from exploitation and fraud. Financial exploitation is the most commonly reported form of abuse against older adults. The summit is held the first day of the Adult Protective Services Conference which runs through August 22).
