 Description:  This report is pursuant to Public Act 91-0529, which requires the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) to report on the efficacy of the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Pilot Program. A SANE is a registered nurse (R.N.) who has been trained and certified to conduct medical and forensic examinations of victims of sex crimes.
