 Description:  This document is the seventh annual report to the Illinois General Assembly regarding the implementation, reliability and validity of the Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol (CERAP). Public Act 88-614 required the development of this protocol and mandated an annual report to the General Assembly. CERAP training and certification is required for all direct service child welfare caseworkers, investigators, and supervisors, from both the public and private sectors. This years report is based upon information provided through research conducted by the Child and Family Research Center (CFRC) at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
