The Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Schaumburg secured a three year contract with the Illinois Department of Corrections in 2002 to provide correctional psychology training at the doctoral level. This program provides the IDOC with cost savings while increasing mental health services. The program provides much needed training opportunities for pre-doctoral level psychology students.
