Child and Family Services Review: Program Improvement Plan

 Volume/Number:  2004
 Issuing Agency:
Description:  The Illinois Program Improvement Plan was developed in response to findings from the Child and Family Services Review that was administered by the Childrens Bureau and the Administration for Children and Families in September 2003. The Review is a comprehensive federal review process that evaluates the effectiveness of each states child welfare system. Illinois approached the development of its Program Improvement Plan by engaging stakeholders from the child welfare arena in the process. The resulting plan represented a cross section of ideas and initiatives to improve the states ability to meet the increasingly complex needs of the children and families the system served.
