When Treasurer Frerichs was sworn into office, he called for a top-to-bottom review of the Treasurers Office to identify ways to increase efficiency, effectiveness and reduce costs. A media availability will be held on April 29 at 1:30 p.m. at the Peoria Chamber of Commerce at 100 SW Water Street in Peoria to discuss inherited challenges, successes, and a plan to expand education, access, and opportunity to Illinois families.
