Illinois EPA Conducts Waste Tire Removal Action for Units of Local Government in Ogle and Peoria Counties

On April 28, the Illinois EPA, in cooperation with the Ogle County Solid Waste Management Agency, removed an estimated 900 waste tires for units of local government. On May 1, the Agency removed an estimated 2,130 waste tires in cooperation with the Peoria County Recycling and Resource Conservation. These waste tire removal actions are part of the Illinois EPAs efforts to assist units of local government in providing and maintaining a healthful environment for the benefit of this and future generations.
