Illinois EPA Seeks Court Order Preventing Restart Of McHenry County Manufacuturing Plant Following March 6 Explosion

(collectively, FVMS) from restarting operations at their spray paint and propellant manufacturing facility located at 640 Industrial Drive in Cary, McHenry County. Todays action was prompted by ongoing concerns about several explosions and a fire which occurred March 6 at the facility, and resulted in injuries to workers as well as the evacuation of workers in approximately 25 other businesses located in the surrounding industrial park.

An investigation by the Secretary of States Office found annuity sales to consumers cost them more than $235,000 in surrender fees; and the Attorney Generals Office has announced action against Mr. Van Dyke for misleading advertising.
