| | | | Title: | | | | | Volume/Number: | | | | | Issuing Agency: | | | | | Description: | The Treasurer of the State of Illinois is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for: credit/debit card and electronic check processing as an In-Office service, and credit card and electronic check processing as both an Internet and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. With the exception of electronic checks (e-checks), this is currently a pilot program designed exclusively for Illinois Funds participants. The Treasurer seeks information from proposers interested in providing financial transaction card/e-check acceptance and processing via Touch-Tone, Internet and In- Office services for current and future Illinois Funds participants. The Treasurer, in her discretion, reserves the right to select an optimum number of service providers to process the following applications based on a variety of factors as outlined in this RFP for a period of four years. The vendor shall secure and maintain relationships with all subcontractors to perform all data processing procedures. Participants will benefit from the economies of scale in pricing, and administration should be simplified by making acceptance procedures more consistent.
