  • The Data Center Investment Program (the Program) is one of the newer business incentives offered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (the Department). Established by Public Act 101-31, as amended by Public Acts 01-604 and 102-427, the Program is designed to attract large-scale data centers through a variety of sales and use tax exemptions and provides for tax credits related to the construction of projects located in underserved areas.
