  • The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority's analysis of annual data gathered by the Conference of State Court Administrators has found that state courts are not only failing to bring existing backlog under control, they are rapidly falling even further behind (although Illinois is doing a better job than most large states at controlling new backlog).
