  • This Cook County litigation arises from an automobile accident that took place in February of 2008. The driver who was accused of wrongdoing in connection with the accident died shortly thereafter, on April 25, 2008. Pursuant to his will, which was admitted to probate that September, his son was issued letters of office to serve as independent administrator of the estate. The statute of limitations for plaintiffs claim of personal injuries was two years.
