  • The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will host a Public Informational Meeting on the proposed improvement of Interstates 55 and 72 around Springfield, from south of the Sixth Street interchange to north of the Sherman interchange. IDOT is continuing a planning study for the improvement and encourages all interested residents and business owners to attend.
