  • The Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA) co-sponsors the 2014 Central Illinois Senior Celebration, Wednesday, May 21, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the Orr Building of the IL State Fairgrounds, in Springfield. This is the 16th annual event which is hosted each year in May which is Older Americans Month, an observance in honor of people aged 60 and older. The Central Illinois Senior Celebration features exhibitors, entertainment, prizes, refreshments and free health screenings and information.
