  • Illinois EPA Director Lisa Bonnett this week asked the Illinois Attorney Generals Office to seek an immediate injunctive court order compelling Citgo Petroleum Corporation and its refinery in Lemont to, among other things, conduct a root cause analysis and submit other information for state review so as to prevent a similar incident in the future. Todays action follows a large fire that began on the evening of October 23 and caused significant damage to the facility.
