  • On September 6th the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Illinois EPA), in cooperation with the Will County Land Use Department and DisposALL Waste Services LLC., removed an estimated 60.67 tons of waste tires for units of local government in Will County. This waste tire removal action is part of the Illinois EPAs efforts to assist units of local government (ULGs) in providing and maintaining a healthful environment for the benefit of this and future generations, established in the Illinois Constitution and Section 55.1(c) of the Environmental Protection Act.
