  • Federal and local officials will join more than 200 healthcare providers from across the state for the 2nd annual Minority Health Conference hosted by the Illinois Department of Public Health Center for Minority Health Services. The two-day conference, held at the Chicago Marriott Naperville, in conjunction with the Illinois Public Health Association, will feature a welcome address by Deputy Governor Cristal Thomas, and examine the impact of the Affordable Care Act on minorities.
