  • Illinois transportation officials, along with other state and local leaders, will take part in a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the IDOT Biggsville Maintenance Yard at IL 94 and IL 116 in Biggsville to announce the beginning of a $40.6 million project to build the Biggsville Bypass. The new four-lane expressway segment in Henderson County is funded by Governor Pat Quinns Illinois Jobs Now! capital program and will relocate US 34 to a new alignment south of Biggsville, from 1.5 miles east of IL 164 to 1.9 miles east of IL 94.
