  • The Fair Employment Practices (FEP) Unit oversees two programs. The MBE/FBE Participation Program promotes opportunities for minority/female owned firms as stipulated by the Business Enterprise for Minorities, Females and Persons with Disabilities Act, 30ILCS575, Public Act-597, effective 8/28/94. The DHR Minority/Female Workforce Program offers equal employment opportunities to minority and female tradespersons in acccordance with the Department of Human Rights, Subpart D, Bidding and Compliance, Section 750.
