  • The Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA) today wrapped up activities for the Governors Conference on Aging, by honoring individuals and organizations whose contributions in assisting older adults merit recognition. The awards program was the final event of the conference where advocates and experts from across the state gather to focus on issues that affect the aging population. This year was the 31st consecutive Governors Conference on Aging, held December 12, 13 and 14 in Chicago.
