- A Macon County meat packing plant has voluntarily recalled approximately 90 pounds of ground beef products that may be contaminated with bacteria. Stewart Brothers of Decatur, Ill., issued its recall because the products were made from beef trim potentially-contaminated with E.coli that was subject to another recall announced by the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service on Sept. 28.
