  • IL Route 60/83 will be fully closed at the Canadian National Railroad in the Village of Mundelein, Lake County. Beginning on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 6:00 AM through Friday, September 21, 2012 at 6:30 PM for the repairs at the grade crossing. The posted detour route for eastbound traffic on IL Route 60/83 is to proceed southbound on Midlothian Road, eastbound on Gilmer Road, and northbound on Diamond Lake Road back to IL Route 60/83. The posted detour route for westbound traffic on IL Route 60/83 is to proceed southbound on Diamond Lake Road, westbound on Gilmer Road, and northbound on Midlothian Road back to IL Route 60/83.
