  • The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that construction will begin on the Frontage Road (Schuester Road) along the south side of Interstate 70 near Pocahontas from Baumann Road to Bob White Road on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Road closures will be utilized to oil and chip the existing roadway. This work is estimated to be completed by Friday, June 8, 2012. The contractor on this project is The Kilian Corporation of Mascoutah, Illinois. Steve Putz is the Supervising Field Engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation in this area.
