  • IDOT appropriately responded to a request from the White County Bridge Commission for assistance in closing the Harmony Way Memorial Bridge. Effective immediately, the bridge is closed to all traffic traveling between Crossville, Illinois and New Harmony, Indiana. The official detour route for motorists is Illinois Route 1, Interstate 64 and Indiana Route 69. Further questions regarding the Harmony Way Memorial Bridge should be directed to the bridge commission.
