Description

  • The Illinois Department of Transportation would like to alert motorists traveling on Interstate 24 of upcoming construction work. This project is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 29, 2012 on the eastbound lanes of I-24 over Country Club Road, Mile Marker 35. Country Club Road will be reduced to one lane also. Country Club Road will be closed on June 4, 2012. The Department of Transportation will be engaged in replacing a beam under the I-24 bridge over Country Club Road near Metropolis, Illinois. This project is expected to be completed on June 7, 2012.
