  • Southbound Interstate 57 Work Scheduled Near Thomasboro

Description

  • The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that 5.4 miles of southbound Interstate 57 is slated to be rubblized and resurfaced with asphalt mix starting in early April, weather permitting. The project runs from just south of Olympian Drive in Champaign (mile marker 238) to two miles south of Thomasboro (mile marker 245). In addition, repairs to the Olympian Drive interchange and to the Market Street intrechange are also planned. During construction, one lane of traffic will be maintained.
