  • The purpose of this report is to provide to the General Assembly a recommendation as to whether the current $2 incentive fee provides adequate compensation for the removal of mercury switches from end-of-life vehicles. The law requires Illinois EPA to make this determination every three years. This report fulfills the requirement for the first three year reporting period.
