- The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), during a state-wide compliance sweep, found that the vast majority of bank and credit union customer service staff has completed newly mandated financial exploitation training. This training is a requirement of new state law mandating training to protect senior citizens from financial exploitation. The training was designed and administered by the Illinois Department on Aging.
