- Examiners from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) have completed a state-wide compliance sweep of banks and credit unions found the vast majority of bank and credit union customer service staff has completed newly mandated financial exploitation training. This training is required by a new state law designed to protect senior citizens from financial exploitation. The training was designed and administered by the Illinois Department on Aging (IDoA.)
