  • Illinois has been awarded more than $630,000 in federal funds to strengthen the competitiveness of the states specialty crop industry. The funds come from the U.S. Department of Agricultures Specialty Crop Block Grant Program and will support efforts to open new markets for fresh produce grown in Illinois.
