  • The Downers Grove Park District completed the Lyman Woods Streambank Stabilization Project, Site Area # 2, Phases 1 and 2. This project will protect against severe streambank erosion, provide nonpoint source pollution control along Lyman Woods Headwaters, and improve the water quality of Lacey Creek and the downstream East Branch DuPage River. Installed stream stabilization techniques have provided effective and environmentally sound bank protection.
