  • The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that westbound I-55/70 will be reduced to 2 lanes near Exchange Avenue in East St. Louis from 7:00 pm Friday, February 17, 2012 until 5:00 am Monday, February 20, 2012, weather permitting. Traffic will be guided through the work zone by using the Illinois State Police, construction signing, and flaggers. These lane restrictions are necessary to remove and replace the storm sewer under the roadway.
