  • Chicago - Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) officials will join National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and law enforcement to kick off a major enforcement mobilization over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. IDOT, NHTSA, state and local law enforcement agencies will highlight planned traffic safety activities, including enforcement zones and roadside safety checks, to boost safety over the heavily traveled weekend.
