  • Omer Osman, Deputy Director and District 9 Engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that a Canadian National/Illinois Central Railroad crew will make repairs to the Illinois Route 149 Railroad Crossing in Desoto, IL beginning Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 7:30 a.m. The highway at the railroad crossing will remain closed until repairs are completed on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
