Description

  • The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will conduct a public hearing on improvements proposed for U.S. 30 between Interstate 55 and Illinois 59 in Will County. The proposed scope of work includes widening U.S. 30 to two lanes in each drection with a median from I-55 to Renwick Road and reconstructing the roadway to one lane in each direction with a median between Renwick Road and Illinois 59 to improve capacity, operations and safety. Curbs, gutters, multiuse paths, sidewalks, drainage and intersection improvements also will be added. The project is included in IDOTs 2012-17 Proposed Highway Improvement Program as part of the Illinois Jobs Now! capital program.
