  • IL Route 160 Over Branch Lake Creek in Clinton County

Description

  • The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that beginning Monday, November 21, 2011, weather permitting, the structure carrying IL Route 160 over Branch Lake Creek located 2.2 miles south of Trenton will be reduced to one lane. Signing, traffic control devices and flaggers will be provided to aid motorists through the work zones during the initial stages of construction until the Temporary Traffic Signals are placed to direct the motorists. Please watch for stopped traffic and allow extra time when traveling through the work zone. This construction and lane reduction is necessary to remove and replace the existing structure. Work should be completed by September, 2012. The contractor on this project is Thiems Construction Company, Inc. of Edwardsville, IL.
