  • The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that Interstate 80 and IL 178 (Exit 81) work continues. Tonight, November 3, 2011 (weather permitting), the Contractor will erect beams for the IL 178 bridge over I 80. The IL 178 ramps will be utilized for a detour of I 80 traffic while the beams are erected over the interstate.
