Description

  • The Illinois Department of Transportation, located in Dixon, announces that inlet repairs will take place at IL 251 and Harlem Road in Machesney Park. These repairs will begin on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at 8:00 AM and we anticipate the repairs being completed in one day. The traffic control will remain in place to protect the work area and will be pulled by Friday afternoon. There will be multiple lane closures; the most significant is the complete closure of the through lanes on the west leg of Harlem Road. Also, the intersection will be in red flash for the duration of the work.
