Description

  • IL 58 (Dempster St.) will be fully closed at the CTA viaduct between Sherman Avenue and Sherman Place in the City of Evanston, Cook County. Beginning on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 7:00 AM through Friday, November 18, 2011 at 7:00 AM for the installation of drilled shaft foundations for the new CTA viaduct to be constructed in the Spring of 2012. The proposed detour route for eastbound traffic on IL Route 58 (Dempster St.) is to proceed north on Maple Avenue, eastbound on Greenwood Street, southbound on Chicago Avenue back to IL Route 58 (Dempster St.). The posted detour route for westbound traffic on IL Route 58 (Dempster St.) is to proceed north on Chicago Avenue, westbound on Lake Street, southbound on Oak Avenue back to IL Route 58 (Dempster St.).
