  • Since 2004, the Illinois Department of Transportation's (IDOT) sponsorship of the Engineering Explorer Post 6 has helped students explore the different aspects of engineering through field trips, group activities, and special guest speakers. The Engineering Explorer Post will host its annual First Nighter on Thursday, September 15th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the IDOT Central Office 2300 South Dirksen Parkway in Springfield. This is an open house to explain the program to both students and parents.
