  • The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) has granted the Ameren Edwards Power Station a provisional variance from the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit temperature limits. The variance is in response to the extreme weather, along with the low flow and high temperature conditions in the receiving water. Ameren Edwards Power Station is an electric generating station located in Bartonville, Peoria County.
