  • The Illinois Department of Transportation announces today that weather permitting, construction work will begin on Monday, July 11, 2011 to reconstruct the roadway at the south entrance in the Mississippi Palisades State Park north of Savanna. Martin and Company Excavating will be starting the $620,915 contract to replace the roadway from IL 84 to the top of the hill in the park.
