Description

  • The Illinois Department of Transportation announced today that weather permitting; the Cisco-Monticello Road (Old IL 47) will be closed for bridge and box culvert replacement beginning on July 25, 2011. The road will be closed for 5 days to allow removal and replacement of 3 drainage structures along the route. During construction, there will be a detour in place for those needing access to Allerton Park. After the closure there may be intermittent lane closures to safely complete the project.
