  • The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced today that construction is expected to begin this week on a new bus transfer station located near the Macomb Depot Amtrak Station, weather permitting. The $525,000 project is funded by Governor Pat Quinn's Illinois Jobs Now! capital program and is expected to improve travel in the Macomb area.
