  • The Illinois Department of Transportation announces today that weather permitting, construction work on IL 73 north of Lanark will begin on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Martin and Company Excavating is starting the $1.7 million project to improve the 7 miles of IL 73 from US 52/IL 64 in Lanark north to the Stephenson County line.
