  • The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) has embargoed all products produced at Trans Tofu in Chicago. During a routine inspection, IDPH found the company had been operating without hot water and therefore employees could not properly wash their hands or clean equipment. The Department also found a rodent infestation, which may have contaminated food being processed.
